Packing List for Royal Enfield/Bullet Tour
Vented summer gloves are the best bet to beat sweaty digits, but you may get cold hands on early starts. Summer-style, water proof gloves are ideal for all-round use. If you suffer greatly from chilly digits then you may want inner-gloves or even winter gloves for the early starts.
JACKET
A traditional leather bike jacket will be OK, but a little hot and will require you to bring a waterproof over-jacket, or an over-suit. Although armoured textile jackets are generally better than leather, especially those with venting and breathable linings, another tack is to wear a light, vented, armoured jacket and carry a wind/waterproof over-jacket. This way you can stay reasonably cool, but add a wind proof layer for instant warmth.
TROUSERS
As with jackets, armoured textile trousers are probably the way to go, but water proof ones tend to be very hot, so better go for a cool pair and carry waterproof over-trousers for chilly days. Likewise, protective jeans are ideal when mated to over-trousers.
BOOTS
Sturdy boots, covering the ankle, are a minimum requirement. We would recommend, though, that you wear ‘proper’ bike boots with shin protection. Touring-type boots fit the bill well, as do race boot sand protective ankle boots.
OTHER CLOTHING & KIT
The list below isn’t everything you might need to bring on one of our tours (some under crackers might also be nice), but highlights things that are best not forgotten. Some of these items (insect repellent, hats, etc) can be bought cheaply in India, but as there may not be the time to nip to the shops on the first day, it’s as well to bring them from home.

Leaving Jaipur, you head north-west on the NH-11 towards the Shekhwati region, to the town of mandawa. Referred to as the “open air art gallery” of Rajasthan, the entire Shekhawati region is dotted with fascinating mansions (havelis) embellished with frescoes & colourfully painted walls. Later in the afternoon, you may either join a guided tour of the “Havelis” or explore the town on your own.
Joining the NH-11 again, you’ll head westwards towards the city of Bikaner, one of its famous cities right on the edge of the Thar desert.
Bikaner’s landscape is dominated by the indomitable Junagarh Fort and the red sandstone Lalgarh Palace. You may join an organized half a day sightseeing tour of the town.
After breakfast, you’ll saddle-up again for a 250 Km ride to the city of Jodhpur. Today our route turns south as we head through the Thar desert into the Marwar region of Rajasthan.
The day is yours to visit the places of interest like the impressive Mehrangarh Fort, the spectacular Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jaswant Thada or the bazaars around the clock tower
After Breakfast it’ll be time to bid adieu to “the blue city” and take your journey further south towards the Aravali hills. On the way, you’ll get the opportunity to make a brief stop at Ranakpur, a small town located in a wooded valley on the western side of the Aravali range, famous for the white marble Jain temple with intricate carvings. Your final destination today will be Udaipur, the city of lakes.
Udaipur, a tourists delight as it is, will most likely have you spending the entire day visiting all it has to offer. The evening will be a great time to absorb the stunning views of the “Pichola Lake” from the sunset point or one of the numerous roof-top restaurants lining the “ghats” around the lake .
Heading north-east from Udaipur, today’s ride takes us to the spectacular fort of Chittorgarh, one of the most romantic of Rajasthan’s fortifications. After a ride to the Fort, you’ll continue further towards the village of Bijaipur. However, before arriving at our destination of the day, we’ll first take a short detour to enjoys village roads in the region.
Day 09: Bijaipur – Bundi (155 KM)
Leaving Bijaipur, you’ll head north to Pushkar, a holy town famous for its lake, various ghats and temples spread all around it.
Today, it’ll be time to say good-bye to the Royal Enfields & Rajasthan. After breakfast, you’ll be boarding a bus coach for the last leg of this journey. a city tour of Jaipur city. If you’ve purchased a add-on, you will be transferred to our partner hotel in Jaipur where your accommodation has been arranged.
Early morning you will be transferred to Delhi International Airport for your onward journey.
