Also called as the festival of colours, Holi is one of the most popular festivals celebrated in India. Year on year, Holi arrives on the day of full moon (Poornima day) in the month of March. It starts with Holika Dahan or Chhoti Holi on the evening of the Purnima falling in the Vikram Samvat Hindu Calendar month of Phalguna. One of the most vibrant Hindu festivals, Holi is a festive day to meet loved ones, play with colors, enjoy a delicious feast and begin afresh. Come and celebrate with us, Holi – the festival of colors, and joy.
LessOn the day of arrival, Our representative will meet you at the New Delhi airport and transfer you to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, we will start a full day sightseeing tour of Delhi, visit Jama Masjid, take a short rickshaw ride at the Chandni Chowk (A huge market of spices and clothes), also visit Rashtrapati Bhavan, India Gate, Akshardham Temple, Qutub Minar and Bangla sahib . Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and leave for Jaipur. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel, later proceed for the sightseeing tour of Jaipur, visit City Palace, the Hawa Mahal (palace of winds), Jantar Mantar. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, visit Amber Fort, Jal Mahal. later we will see the local crafts and artisan process of famous Hand block printing and jewelry workshop. Rest of the day at leisure, In the evening, witness Holi-ka Dahan ceremony to celebrate the victory of good over evil. Among the residents, the day is also popularly known as Choti Holi since the bigger event of playing around with the colors takes place on the next day. Overnight stay at hotel
After breakfast, enjoy Holi festival in Jaipur with the local Indian Families. Sweets and dishes will be exchanged; herbal Holi will be applied followed by lunch. Evening is free at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to Agra. On the way, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the oldest deserted town built by the Mughal Kingdom in 1571 and built by red stone, in the honor of Saint Salim Chisti. Visit Diwane-e-Khas, Punch Mahal, the Tomb of Salim Chisti, and the Buland Darwaza (one of the largest and tallest gateways in the world). Later continue your drive toward Agra and evening visit at Taj Mahal. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel for night stay.
Early in the morning before Sunrise, visit the world’s most popular and beautiful monument “The Taj Mahal” and “Mehtab Bagh” and visit Itmad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb. Later drive to Delhi and we will drop you at International Airport for your onward Journey.
