Pushkar in the month of November gears itself for the annual festivities in the form of a colourful camel fair. The town is revered by Hindus as a pilgrimage site where Lord Brahma, the creator dropped a lotus flower. This place where the flower was dropped became the site of holy Pushkar Lake. The location also has one of the world’s few Brahma temples that make it one of the pious Hindu pilgrimage sites in India.

Over the years of the Pushkar fair celebration, it has evolved from a local fair to a large tourism event.
Pushkar Fair is a way through which people can experience the rich culture, customs and traditions of Rajasthan in the form of an iconic festival.
