We are really proud to inform you that we are one of the first companies in India to have adopted WTTC protocol for safe travel.

OUR CANCELLATION POLICY FOR EXISTING RESERVATIONS

The COVID-19 Pandemic is understandably a major global event outside Contes Asia control, which falls under our Inability to Perform Clause of Contes Asia’s Terms and Conditions. The fine print is there to protect our livelihood and that of 10 staff members and their families from major situations such as this one. As such, Contes Asia is under no obligation to provide substitution, replacement of services or refunds to affected Guests. This is what our agreement says but here is what we are going to do.

Our purpose at Contes Asia is to provide our Guests with Memories for a Lifetime and we intend to honour that just as soon as we can, therefore, we are granting or rebooking the experiences.

Travelling to India – All guests with departures in March, April and May can rebook for a later date. All others will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis to determine the best way to move forward, and to provide a level of comfort during this challenging time. Given the uncertainty of the situation this is the only option we can provide at this moment.

NEW RESERVATIONS

 – The following amended terms and conditions apply to new bookings only, are not retroactive to past bookings and are applicable for tour departing in 2021 up until March 31, 2022.

  • Guests will be able to amend their booking and postpone their experience dates for up to 12 months, maintaining 2020 rates, from their original tour departure date if they are not comfortable travelling due to the coronavirus.
  • Bookings may be amended up to 30 days prior to departure. If Guests wish to amend their booking less than 15 days prior to departures, standard cancellation fees, terms and conditions will apply.
  • If Guests wish to cancel their booking due to the coronavirus or in the event that the World Health Organization issues advisories against travelling to India, Contes Asia standard cancellation terms and conditions would apply which is why we strongly recommend all guests to purchase travel cancellation and interruption insurance.
  • The above terms are subject to availability.
  • Bookings can only be amended once and are applicable only to individual (FIT) bookings, charter bookings or groups.
